Small-team infrastructure at real scale.

I own and operate Unepic Networks, where a focused team provides dependable hosting, infrastructure, custom applications, and responsive support across a distributed five-location environment.

An owner's view of the whole system

My responsibilities span critical infrastructure, customer support, billing, service monitoring, and custom applications. That breadth means understanding both the systems in the rack and the customer experience those systems support.

I manage Windows environments, Debian and other Linux distributions, and Dell systems running Hyper-V. The environment currently supports 101 virtual machines on 10 servers, with 11 networks connecting infrastructure across five locations.

My business partner and I have built a long record of responsive support and reliable service. We operate with the agility and accountability of a small company while pursuing the uptime and service standards customers expect from much larger providers.

The operating principle

Reliability is technical and personal.

Monitoring and redundancy matter, but dependable service also requires ownership. When customers need help, our small-team structure shortens the distance between the person answering the question and the person who understands the underlying infrastructure.

That combination—careful systems administration, practical automation, direct support, and a willingness to solve unusual problems—is where Unepic Networks competes best.
